Nordic Brief covers branding, visual identity and design work from Nordic agencies. We publish three formats: project news covering recent work, opinion pieces on industry topics, and interviews with Nordic creatives. If you have something that fits, we want to hear from you.
Project news
Short-form coverage of a specific project — a new identity, a packaging system, a digital product, a campaign. We write the article based on your materials and a short interview with the team. What we need from you: a project description, high-resolution images, and one or two people available for questions. We select projects based on creativity, craft, concept and courage — not client size.
Job news
Short updates on hires and promotions at Nordic agencies. We publish these as they come in. Include the person's name, whether they were hired or promoted, the agency, their new title, and the date it took effect.
Opinion pieces
A written argument about something happening in Nordic design right now. Not a thought leadership exercise — a position. Good opinion pieces identify a specific tension, trend or blind spot and take a clear stance on it. You write the draft, we edit for clarity and fit. Pieces run 600–1,000 words.
Interviews
We run interview series with Nordic designers and agency founders — including "My First Project," where senior creatives revisit the project that shaped how they work. If you'd like to suggest someone (including yourself), tell us who and why their perspective matters to the industry right now.
